NEC Nijmegen need a quick recovery from a tough week ahead of their home match against GO Ahead Eagles on Sunday. The team suffered a 5-0 loss at Juventus on Thursday and were also beaten 3-0 at Cambuur prior to that.

Recent form has been mixed with two wins, one draw and two defeats in their last five outings. The sequence started positively with a win at PEC Zwolle and a draw against Excelsior, but turned after losses to Feyenoord, Cambuur and the heavy defeat in Turin. Against a GO Ahead Eagles side that drew 1-1 with Groningen, points are essential to stop the slide.
