N.E.C. Nijmegen to bolster attack with Danish winger Clement Bischoff

N.E.C. Nijmegen are finalizing a loan deal for RB Salzburg winger Clement Bischoff. The 20-year-old Dane arrives on loan with an option to buy and replaces Basar Önal, who left for Lille last summer for a record fee.

The transfer comes at a crucial time for N.E.C. The club kicks off European qualifiers next month and needs extra firepower up front. Bischoff follows Emre Mor, who joined on a free transfer this summer after leaving Fenerbahçe.

Who is Clement Bischoff?

Clement Bischoff (20) is a Danish winger who made 24 appearances for RB Salzburg last season. He scored twice and set up four goals. Before joining Salzburg in 2025, he played 55 games for Brøndby, netting three times and assisting nine.

The young attacker broke into Brøndby’s first team in 2024 and quickly became one of Denmark’s most promising wingers. His pace and crossing make him a threat in the Eredivisie.

Why this move matters for N.E.C. Nijmegen

N.E.C. Nijmegen face European qualifiers soon and need to strengthen their attack. Bischoff fills the gap left by Basar Önal’s record move to Lille. The club hopes the Dane will add more creativity and goals in the final third.

Emre Mor, who joined on a free transfer after leaving Fenerbahçe last summer, is also available. With both wingers in the fold, N.E.C. aim to push harder in the Eredivisie.

What happens next?

The Bischoff deal is set to be completed soon. N.E.C. Nijmegen plan to integrate the Dane quickly ahead of their European qualifiers. The club wants to use his extra attacking power right away.
