N.E.C. Nijmegen and GezondRijk Nijmegen launch ROUTE 1900, an interactive walking route of 1,900 meters through the Benedenstad of Nijmegen. This unique route is an initiative of N.E.C. Nijmegen, GezondRijk Nijmegen, and the municipality of Nijmegen to celebrate the anniversary year of Nijmeegse driekleur. Along the way, walkers dive into six special moments from the first years of the club's history. The old house of co-founder Guus Lodenstijn, the origins of Eendracht, the first match, Café De Sportcentrale - nothing is missing. With the route, GezondRijk Nijmegen puts the inhabitants of the Rijk van Nijmegen literally and figuratively in motion in an interactive, accessible, and free way. An Nijkamp, project coordinator of GezondRijk Nijmegen, says: 'With ROUTE 1900, we bring 125 years of club history literally into the city.' The route is for everyone, whether you're a fanatical N.E.C. supporter, a curious Nijmegenaar, or just looking for a fun activity. Complete the route? Then you'll also receive 10% discount in the N.E.C. Fanshop. Look for all information about ROUTE 1900, the use of the app, and answers to frequently asked questions. The route is a must for every N.E.C. supporter and anyone who loves Nijmegen. So come and participate in ROUTE 1900. It's a unique experience you won't want to miss. The walking route is free and accessible to everyone. You can start the route at the old house of Guus Lodenstijn and from there walk through the Benedenstad of Nijmegen.
