N.E.C. Nijmegen has signed a new contract with Bram Nuytinck. The 36-year-old central defender signs for one season and will therefore go to Europe with his N.E.C. Nuytinck fought his way back from a cruciate ligament injury last season. After months of rehabilitation, he made his comeback against Heracles Almelo on February 7. With three starting positions and five substitute appearances, Nuytinck had his share in the most successful season in the club's history. Technical director Carlos Aalbers is satisfied with the contract extension. Aalbers said it is more than admirable how Nuytinck has fought his way back last season and how fit he is.
